Nolen Kitchen Restaurant Review: Nolen Kitchen has a chic, uncluttered interior and one of the city's best outdoor patio spaces. Start with a house-made dip (we suggest the white bean and chives); PEI mussels, rich with tomato, lemon and white wine; or Kobe sliders with a glass of red wine at the Crescent bar. (Check out the half-off bottles of wine Tuesday nights among other drink specials depending on the day of the week.) Consider as well the bacon-wrapped meatloaf, spinach pie or savory sandwiches, such as the souvlaki wrap. An extensive gluten-free menu is offered at both lunch and dinner, with many of the same items as on the regular menu but appropriate changing sides and embellishments. Nolen's dessert list and hours make it a suitable late-night, post-theater stop. The wine list offers good values and plenty of nice by-the-glass choices.
