With a seamless combination of a sophisticated yet relaxed ambience, upscale recipes yet unpretentious presentation, and comfort food mixed with periodically electric surprises, this is a place to visit again and again. The fare has been notable since day one (clever, irresistible zucchini chips served free at the bar, and an old-world pasta bolognese that will remind even the most bored diner why simple Italian food is arresting).
