 Northern Lakes Seafood Company Restaurant Review: Detroit has a number of good seafood restaurants, and this is one of them. Offering everything from oysters and clams from the raw bar to sashimi-quality ahi, big lobsters and fish from the Great Lakes, all is served in a bright, contemporary setting. Check out the oyster and martini bar, which is done up in maritime shades of watery greens and blues. Menus are printed daily to reflect the freshest catches, and trimmings live up to the main dishes. An added bonus: This upscale but unpretentious restaurant offers a wide choice of wines stocked by master sommelier Paula Hartson, who pairs vinos with great success. The staff is professional, friendly and upbeat. |
