O2 Sushi Restaurant Review

: This little sushi bar has a strong following among office workers in the neighborhood, as well as with shoppers from Paseo Colorado across the street. It’s a relatively attractive place, with a small school of metallic fish mounted on one wall, and modern Japanese art on the opposite one. Contemporary Japanese lanterns hang over a long black sushi bar, with high-backed booths sheltering gossip or business deals. Perhaps we are tougher to impress, but O2 strikes us as a friendly, gracious, but only respectable sushi bar. Some specialties, like the ponzu-splashed seared albacore sashimi, are both attractively plated and tasty, but much of the ingredients are simply not of the quality to result in great sushi. Prices are fair, however, and it will likely continue to have its admirers.
