This Syrian-owned lunch spot combines the cuisines of Northern Africa with more Americanized Italian cooking. Service is quick and friendly and the presentation is simple. Healthy fresh choices include hummus dip with whole-wheat pita bread, African turnovers stuffed with vegetables and grilled kosher chicken. Although the emphasis is predominantly vegetarian, this may be the only restaurant in the Sacramento area to feature goat on the menu.
