Ocean City Restaurant Restaurant Review: Fish tanks are omnipresent in Chinatown, but this large, bustling restaurant has one of the biggest. A glass partition painted with fish separates the front tanks from the main room, which is decked out in pink tablecloths and sparkling chandeliers. Huge platters of steamed oysters or clams are redolent of black beans and garlic. Fried frogs with chili are tasty, but not for everyone. The less adventurous may stick with sautéed baby shrimp and cashews, or lobster with ginger or pan-fried grouper. Crispy fried squab and all kinds of hot pots are specialties of the house. Dim sum is served daily until 3 p.m. Ask about the 12-course banquets, fun for a special occasion or party. Check with management for free or discounted parking. |
