Ocean Pool Bar & Grill Restaurant Review: Located in the Westin Ka'anapali Ocean Resort Villas, the eatery offers comfortable outdoor dining alongside a spectacular pool. A breakfast buffet is offered daily, and features the usual morning fare such as fresh fruit, bagels, sausages, bacon, eggs and potatoes. Items are also available à la carte including a tasty oatmeal banana brûlée and an Atkins-style steak and eggs breakfast. Early evenings are ideal for enjoying tropical drinks and pupus at the bar while watching the sunset. Coconut lovers will enjoy the crispy coconut breaded shrimp. The Hawaiian-style chicken wings come in a tangy spicy sauce, though the wings may be a tad tough. For entrées, a selection of seafood, steaks, thin-crust pizzas and pastas is offered. The fresh-catch snapper comes in a delightful lemon passion beurre blanc while penne with shrimp and scallops is quite filling. Overall, portions are large and you will not leave hungry. Service is friendly and relaxed, so be sure you have some time on your hands. |
