| A Baltimore institution, Ocean Pride has survived the tide of changing ownership to keep its essential nature intact. It remains one of the few places where fried goodies like oysters, shrimp and scallops are actually worth eating. Although you can order burgers and sandwiches of all sorts, the seafood platters, along with steamed hard-shell crabs year 'round, are the real draws. Sides are particularly good, and if you've a mind to try local specialties like crab fluff (a batter-fried crab cake), this is a perfectly good place to indulge. |
