 Okura Robata Grill & Sushi Bar Restaurant Review: A mix of grill, traditional sushi and innovative fusion dishes gives this restaurant its wide-ranging appeal. Try the palate-surprising Serrano hamachi carpaccio and the toban yaki rib-eye with saké, soy and yuzu juice, made in a toban pot and brought to the table to complete its cooking. The surefire crowd-pleasers are the crispy spicy tuna and the "dynamite" mussels with spicy cream sauce. There are numerous sakés to choose from, as well as a decent wine selection. The ambience is elegant and the bar scene buzzing---not surprising, considering the range of martinis available. We particularly like the ginger cosmo. |
