Situated smack in the center of “Curry Hill,” this diminutive eatery focuses on the street food of Delhi, and the affordable fare is worth the stop. Start with a plate of chaat, which the unimaginative might describe as “Indian nachos,” but is really a pile of crispy wafers doused in chutney, potatoes, chickpeas and yogurt. Several rolls (or wraps) are available, and most are very good, such as Kashmiri chicken, fennel and pomegranate powder enclosed in a slightly crunchy flatbread; the lamb madras variety (lamb, coconut, curry leaves and star anise) is also worth considering. Save room for cardamom-laced cottage cheese dumplings for dessert.
