The Old Spaghetti Factory Restaurant Review: The most unusual feature of this flagship outpost of The Old Spaghetti Factory is its setting, an imposing building decorated with stained glass, ornate antiques and fringed lamps. As for the food, it is abundant, inexpensive and reliable, if unexciting. Choose from pastas with sauces ranging from marinara to clam and meat, or more interestingly, brown butter with mizithra cheese, a sharp Greek cheese similar to Parmesan. Dishes such as lasagna and crab ravioli in Alfredo sauce, plus a few salads and sandwiches, round out the menu. All entrées are served with salad, bread, beverage and ice cream. Gluten-free pasta is available. The extensive kids' menu offers a wide range of pastas and a complete meal option. At the other end of the spectrum, there's a "senior menu" with smaller entrées available to anyone. During the usual wait to be seated, grown-ups may enjoy the upstairs bar while youngsters can hang out in the game room or playroom. Also located at 12725 SE 93rd Ave., Clackamas, 503-653-7949; and 18925 NW Tanasbourne Dr., Hillsboro, 503-617-7614.
