The Old Spaghetti Factory Restaurant Review: Old Spaghetti Factory has locations from Hawaii to Tennessee. It all began here, though, in this imposing building overlooking the Willamette River that houses the chain's corporate headquarters as well as a massive restaurant. It’s a popular place for family groups---even the pickiest eaters like pasta, right? The décor edges toward turn-of-the-century bordello with ornate antiques and fringed lamps. The food is also a bit gaudy but edible and consistent. Choose from classic pasta dishes---spaghetti, lasagna and the like---or updated specialties such as jumbo crab ravioli in a pesto Alfredo sauce. All meals arrive in generous portions and include salad, bread, beverage and ice cream. During the wait for a table, grown-ups can enjoy the upstairs bar while youngsters can hang out in the game room or playroom. A stroll along the river afterward is a terrific way to burn all those carbs. There are additional Old Spaghetti Factory locations in Hillsboro and Clackamas. |
