Old Town Tortilla Factory Restaurant Review: This historic adobe cottage is a Scottsdale institution, owing to its terrific patio and self-described Arizona cuisine. Known for its homemade tortillas, which are available in 25 different flavors with matching herb butter, the venue offers adventurous fare, like the shrimp diablo appetizer sautéed with sun-dried tomatoes, mushrooms and garlic in red chile butter. For an entrée, try the grilled ancho-raspberry pork chop with garlic mashed potatoes. A gazebo on the patio (which also sports a fire-fountain) offers 80 premium tequilas, as well as specialty margaritas. |
