Olde Blind Dog Irish Pub Restaurant Review: Traditional dishes mingle with classic American fare at this well-done re-creation of an Irish pub. The menu asserts that the clam chowder (Celtic clam chowder at that) is authentically Irish; alternatively, there’s French onion soup made with Guinness --- all are served in small and large portions, making them good starters or even a light main course option. Mashed potato-topped shepherd's pie is, happily, made with lamb; bangers and mash, Scotch eggs, Irish breakfast (add some black-and-white pudding if you wish) and fish ‘n’ chips are among the more Irish dishes. There's corned beef and cabbage, too. Sticky toffee pudding for dessert extends the theme. Beers (mostly American) are the dominant quaff, but wine, mostly familiar brands, is also available. Also located at 12650 Crabapple Rd., Milton, 678-624-1092.
