 This sleek, stylish storefront ramps up the Far North dining scene, and it’s a good place to spend a warm summer night. French doors open wide to reveal a red-hued space with a mosaic bar, lipstick red seating and tunes by the likes of Celia Cruz. The menu is appealing from top to bottom---and it’s available late. Go for the flaky empanadas studded with ham or the croquetas jamón to start. Both come with fine chimichurri sauces. The grilled, tequila-marinated, chili de arbol-glazed pork loin and chiles rellenos are winners, too. Vegetarians will groove on the veggie grill and meat-free paella. For dessert, it’s hard to choose between the airy mango mousse cake and tres leches cake, but the latter gets our vote. Serious drink specials certainly add to the allure.
