Olive & Gourmando Restaurant Review:

Olive & Gourmando is the Old Montreal home of all things baked and tasty. While they don't serve a special brunch menu, they don't need one with offerings that include house-made granola with fresh fruit and plain yogurt; house-made ricotta with honey, orange zest, Maldon sea salt, and toast to soak it up; and the famous Cubain panino, made with pancetta, roasted pork, raw milk Gruyère, and a lime, cilantro, chipotle and pickle mayonnaise on a crusty loaf. The small café is all steam and warm smells of rich chocolate cookies, scones, muffins and treats, so order a cafe au lait, ignore the line of chilly patrons covetously eyeing your seat, and settle in with a book or good company to soak up the ambience.
