Edison bulbs, bare brick walls and vintage typography come together to create a space that evokes the industrial-chic vibes of Shoreditch, London. And as the room floods with golden sunlight, a team of tortoiseshell-bespectacled staff busy around espresso machines and prepare artisanal treats that are perfect for a lazy brunch or late lunch. Wake up with thick wedges of carrot cake and lemon meringue with double-dollops of cream, or stack your plate high with pancakes with maple syrup and a portion of strawberry cheesecake. See it down with espresso classics, fruit juice and fresher-than-fresh AeroPress coffee. If it’s later in the day, we suggest starting with a vermouth apéritif, before enjoying the delights of pastrami sandwiches and chilli con carne with thick-sliced jalapeños. Ask about the latest craft beers on tap --- they know their brews as well as their beans --- and sink into a couch for an hour or so to watch the world go by.
