The Omelette and Waffle Cafe & More Restaurant Review: This comfortable downtown Plymouth restaurant is a fixture where locals have met over omelets, pancakes and waffles---or salads and sammies---since 1990. But the primary draw is the breakfasts. Create your own omelet, either plain or egg white, or choose from preordained versions like traditional ham and cheese or the more adventurous Greek, with gyro meat, feta cheese, bell peppers and onions. There’s even a take stuffed with corned beef and Swiss cheese. Generous, Belgian-style waffles come with a choice of toppings and also can be ordered with eggs. Good as they may be, it's hard to pass by the pecan pancakes. Later arrivals might choose the Springer Brothers' chili or sandwiches like the Plymouth special, breaded chicken strips with cheese, diced tomato, lettuce and mayo on a pita. |
