Ono Seafood Products Restaurant Review: The service may not be cheerful, but many locals like this spot near Waikiki for its inexpensive poke bowl combos. Every order of poke is made in front of the customer with the option to select a size (regular for $7 or super for $9; 50 cents extra for two choices) and ahi or tako (octopus), then a mixture of onions, limu (seaweed), chili sauce, inamona (a roasted kukui nut condiment), sesame oil, shoyu and salt. The limu is fresh, and regulars know to go after 2 p.m. on Tuesdays when the shipment of seaweed comes in. If you order your poke “with everything,” you will also need to specify the spiciness, or it will be assumed you want it mild. If you're unsure of what you'd like, there's a board with the popular flavors listed (miso, spicy, wasabi or Hawaiian-Style), all of which can be customized.
