Bamboo floors, backlit wall panels of semi-precious stones, and a double-sided, 2,000-gallon salt water aquarium decorate the dining room of this Asian restaurant in the Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village. Start off with a lychee martini while browsing the selection of sushi, sashimi and specialty hand-rolls. Diners might find seared ahi tuna accompanied by a spicy corn salsa, or a tartare trio of tuna, salmon and yellowtail served with roasted figs and truffle oil with crispy chips. Chef Masasuke "Masa" Shimakawa's also creates daily specials like miso cured sockeye salmon with mango. The signature Miso Gin-Dara---saikyo miso marinated black cod with a sweet soy drizzle---will melt like butter in your mouth. Desserts include a warm chocolate cupcake with jasmine ice cream, and a yuzu meringue tart complemented by vanilla ice cream. Guests can also select from a well-chosen wine list and an array of Japanese sakés and beers.
