THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Opera Restaurant Review:

Opera's cheerful owner, Mark Giuricich, happily replays the basic theme of his earlier restaurant, Kuna, but has redecorated and rethought the menu. What was once a dark and matchbox-sized spot is brighter (though still small) and offers a menu that makes honest Italian cooking more interesting. Along with pasta dishes there are well-considered meat entrées including unforgettable lamb chops plus grilled swordfish and a grilled flank steak salad. Seating is at a minimum, and you are best advised to call ahead for a table. The best dessert? A panna cotta topped with macerated Turkish figs.
