Operakallaren Restaurant Review: Grand ceilings, gilded wood panels and wall paintings set an impressive scene at Operakällaren in Stockholm's Royal Opera House. It would not be an exaggeration to say that chef Stefano Catenacci's cuisine is "fit for a king," as the chef has presided over many banquets and special events for Sweden's royal family. At Operakällaren, he presents a Menu Degustation of several courses with optional wine pairings, as well as à la carte offerings such as butter baked cod with fennel, brandade, oyster beurre blanc and chive oil. The extensive wine cellar houses more than 30,000 bottles from around the world and features rare vintages.
