enoSTEAK has opened at The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel has opened up their latest restaurant, enoSTEAK. Located in the former space of the wine bar ENO, the intimately spaced venue boasts a traditional yet seasonal steakhouse-inspired menu touting grass-fed, pasture-raised beef augmented with locally grown organic produce. Umami Burger is opening its second location in Orange County. The popular venue, known for its lineup of upscale burgers and cocktails, will launch in Laguna Beach on Coast Highway, just north of the city's bustling downtown area. Summer Menu at Seasons 52
Seasons 52 in Costa Mesa has released a special menu of seasonal summer fare. The restaurant, located in the South Coast Plaza shopping center, has several dishes built to specifically highlight the flavors and ingredients of the season, which will be available to enjoy until mid-September. Selected items include chilled lobster and shrimp spring rolls served with a salsa verde, aromatic lemongrass and sweet-hot red chili dipping sauces; a "summer vegetarian tasting" featuring a veggie and bean soft taco, chili relleno and cedar-roasted tofu; and Piedmontese all-natural, bone-in strip steak served with roasted asparagus, cremini mushrooms and fingerling potatoes. Downtown Disney's Uva Bar is Back
Uva Bar, the Downtown Disney eatery that is part of the larger dining venue Catal, has relaunched after being temporarily closed for renovation. The new-look bar features a brighter, more colorful interior and a drink list that puts an emphasis on cocktails made with house-made syrups, freshly squeezed juices, and produce culled from local farmers' markets. Small Plates on the Patio at Tabu Grill
Tabu Grill features a special small plates menu to be enjoyed in the venue's grill and patio areas. The offerings provide a unique take on the restaurant's milieu of contemporary California cuisine. Select items include a bahn mi sandwich with slow-braised pork, cabbage slaw, carrots, and a cilantro jalapeño aioli; short rib gnocchi with poached quail egg, wild mushrooms, and blue cheese; and grilled chicken Caeser with a Parmesan crisp and pear tomatoes. Prego Ristorante in Irvine has been temporarily shut down due to a fire. No definitive timeline in terms of renovation and reopening has been determined for the venue, which is located in the Irvine Towers office complex in the heart of the Irvine business district. Daily Grill in Newport Beach's Fashion Island shopping center is closing. Its last day of operations will be Saturday, June 30. The 5,000-square-foot venue that houses the soon-to-be shuttered eatery is slated to undergo a massive renovation to prepare for its new dining establishment, Lark Creek Newport Beach, which is scheduled to open in 2013.

Beach Pit BBQ Tustin Garage has been closed by its owners. The restaurant, located in the iconic red barn that lay at the heart of Old Town Orange, was shuttered to make way for a retooled and rebranded restaurant, Tustin Roadhouse.
