Former Sorrento Grille executive chef Ryan Adams has announced his new restaurant, Three Seventy Common Kitchen+Drink, will open in mid-October. The new eatery will be located in downtown Laguna Beach in the space of Adams' former venue, which has been reinvented to evoke more of an urban neighborhood ambience. The restaurant's culinary milieu will be a chef-driven take on the sustainable farm-to-table concept featuring local and seasonal ingredients, and will also offer updated takes on traditional cocktails. Seasons 52 Announces New Autumn Menu
Seasons 52 has rolled out a new menu for autumn. The Costa Mesa restaurant, located in South Coast Plaza, features a host of seasonally themed items created by chef Tim Kast, including organic tomato carpaccio with chevre, balsamic vinegar and grilled bruschetta; sesame duck salad with seasonal fruits and mint; and a roasted harvest squash trio served with a honey-mint glaze. Additionally, the venue's bar has marked the season by creating the light raspberry cocoa vodka-infused skinny raspberry chocolatini and the superfruit martini made with blueberry and pomegranate juice. Chef Shuffle

Former Mastro's chef Keith Stich has been appointed the new executive chef at Wildfish Seafood Grille in Newport Beach. This marks a return to the Southern California market for Stich, who is coming back here after a stint as executive chef at Sullivan's Steakhouse in Denver. In addition to bringing his critically acclaimed culinary acumen to Wildfish's selection of seafood and steaks, Stich is also jumping right back into the community, as he is planning on resuming local charitable work with groups like the Hoag Hospital Foundation. Manny Gonzalez has returned to TAPS Fish House and Brewery in Brea as executive chef. This marks his second stint at the Downtown Brea eatery, as he previously helmed the kitchen for four years before heading to San Diego. He comes back to oversee a menu of contemporary cuisine that particularly focuses on a bevy of seafood options, ranging from various oyster preparations to freshly caught fish. South Coast Winery Restaurant & Tasting Room in Costa Mesa has closed. The eatery, a sister venue to the Temecula winery and restaurant of the same name, cited the economic downturn as the reason for its closure. No plans for a replacement venue have been announced.
