Orchid Restaurant Review: The Inn at Morro Bay offers several dining venues with an enviable view overlooking the estuary: the outdoor deck, the Bay Club bar, and Orchid, the main dining room. Unfortunately, Orchid’s food has transitioned from fine dining to fairly basic on most days. The breakfast buffet offers the usual dishes, and lunch is pretty much just burgers and fish ‘n’ chips. Dinnertime kicks it up a notch with items such as Spanish prawns, local mushroom tagliatelle and a grilled filet, but the evening meal is only served in the main dining room on the weekends. |
