Down an unlikely mews in what once must have been stables or garaging lies this unlikely venue for a café. The style is very relaxed, with wooden tables and floor and whitewashed walls. In summer, the doors open out onto the cobbled street, giving it something of a New York feel. The breakfast/brunch lasts until late afternoon: BLT, eggs Florentine and various salads. At night, there are pasta main courses, steak and chips and various mainland European-inspired dishes. The wine list maintains the organic theme. Staff is friendly, if seemingly a little bemused by it all.
