THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Outlaw's Bar & Grill Restaurant Review:
Though the place looks like a biker bar in a Western town, Outlaw's draws a loyal crowd of local businessmen, bohemians and colorful characters who mix in a friendly, chaotic atmosphere. We've seen a Buddhist monk in saffron robes at the bar chatting with a pair of men in football jerseys, and that wasn't even the oddest tableaux. They're all here for the vast platters of deftly grilled meats, plus a formidable array of burgers (including a two-pound "desperado burger"). If the monk was a vegetarian, he might have been enjoying one of the pastas, a salad, or an assortment of the side dishes. It's good American food with few frills, but so well prepared that people keep coming back for more. For dessert, faves include apple pie, a brownie sundae or a root beer float. There are 80 beers offered, and a short but serviceable wine list, too.
