Ovation at the Opera Restaurant Review: One of the most beautiful rooms in the city is located at the Inn at the Opera hotel. It's filled with wonderful oil paintings and flower arrangements, an ornate bar, dark wood, an oversize fireplace and comfy banquettes. A classic French menu is served with offerings such as foie gras terrine, coquilles St. Jacques and escargots. Soups-shellfish bisque, traditional onion and a daily special-are excellent. The entrées are classics with a twist: Dungeness crab and lobster ravioli come with an interesting lemon-grass butter and sautéed sweetbreads sparkle under a port sauce. |
