THIS ESTABLISHMENT IS CLOSED If the Prince were taking out Cinderella for dinner, this is where he might make reservations. It's one of the most unabashedly romantic rooms around, with trompe l'oeil walls suggesting flowing draperies and ornate dados, and occasional Corinthian columns dotting the heavily carpeted room. Flowers, old paintings, shaded lamps and antique sconces, candlelight and soft music, and a glass of the best Champagne (which you brought along)---all put couples in the mood. Bring a bottle of your favorite wine to enhance dishes such as lavender-scented rack of lamb, sweet lump crab cake over lobster bisque, smoked mozzarella ravioli and medallions of venison and duck in sweet Chambord sauce. The service is gracious, and the four-course $45 menu is well worth the price.
