Owen & Engine Restaurant Review

: The Fat Willy’s Rib Shack crew struck gold with this warm, wood-heavy Logan Square gastropub with an extensive selection of cicerone-curated pints and rustic, farm-to-table fare. Get the moist, battered fish ‘n’ chips --- they’re as good, if not better, than any you’ve had. And do not forget to explore the house-made charcuterie --- or the Slagel Farms spatchcock chicken with earthy sunchoke purée, trumpet mushrooms and Brussels sprouts. You’ll also find Brit classics, like Yorkshire pudding and bangers and mash with onion gravy. Desserts carry the theme, with options like the delicate, lightly sweet goat milk cheesecake with brown butter-graham crust and across-the-pond and domestic cheeses, served with bread and chutney.
