THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Paladar Latin Kitchen & Rum Bar Restaurant Review:

Vienna’s outpost of Paladar Latin Kitchen & Rum Bar turns out dishes much like those at its original location in Bethesda, from several different kinds of ceviches to appetizers of empanadas and a spicy queso fundido spiked with chorizo. It would be easy to stop there, but skipping past the entrées, such as the Brazilian feijoada (a stew of pork, chorizo and black beans) or the rum-glazed Cuban pork, both dishes listed under Latin Comfort Food, would be a mistake. For something lighter, go for the El Cubano sandwich, the classic from Havana. Meanwhile, soft tacos are stuffed with braised duck, roasted pork or blackened fish. Desserts include Paladar churros, a Mexican chocolate cake, and a mango tres leches cake. Weekend brunch includes huevos rancheros; chorizo and cheese pupusas; and sweet potato pancakes.
