Distinct interior areas accommodate a broad clientele---theater-goers, destination diners, suits, gals who cocktail with small plates and downtown denizens dining here as the neighborhood eatery. The menu also offers diverse options: eat a little or a lot, at a table or at the bar. The food speaks modern French in the context of what the owner calls "New York City fare." The signature tartare can be traditional beef tenderloin or yellowfin, cucumber dice, chickpea purée quenelle, harissa vinaigrette and cilantro yogurt.
