Colorful flags reminiscent of Siena's Palio---the famous horse race dating back to medieval times---fly in this sleek restaurant. Start with a selection of house-made antipasti or one of the thin, crispy-crusted pizzas fresh out of the brick oven. Main courses include salmon with chickpeas, salt cod and a fennel-and-garlic ragoût. The chicken cooked under a brick, perfumed with lemon and rosemary, is served with sautéed escarole and roasted potatoes. We also enjoy the eggplant Parmigiana---it is baked rather than fried and, of course, topped with gooey mozzarella cheese. For dessert, try the berries macerated in Pinot Noir with zabaglione. The first-rate wine list includes a nice selection of dessert wines. The bar is a great place to hang out and enjoy a few drinks, especially at happy hour.
