Palm Court Jazz Cafe Restaurant Review: You can find great food in New Orleans, and, of course, hot jazz, but only a few of the Big Easy's jazz clubs serve food. Palm Court offers Creole cooking all to the beat of some of the city’s most innovative jazz musicians. Oysters bordelaise is paired with a green peppercorn sauce, while the crawfish Nantua is theatrically flambéed tableside in a brandy cream sauce. Respectable Chicken Clemenceau is an option as well, an item that’s notable simply because it is known locally as a dish that is one of the signature offerings at Galatoire’s on Bourbon Street. Treat yourself to a banana split for dessert. The wine selection is decent, but not often updated. |
