Palma Restaurant Review:

On a street lined with popular (and sometimes touristy) haunts, Palma is the wallflower. The little Italian place doesn't try to grab attention with signs announcing the courtyard garden, although it should. Instead, the restaurant is happy to let those who discover it revel in their secret. With a well-tailored, mostly-Italian wine list, it's hard not to start with a crisp Gavi to go with the salty, crispy fried artichokes. Pastas star on the menu, and the pappardelle with slow-roasted lamb ragù is satisfying. Potato gnocchi is notably light. Desserts are predictable but the panna cotta of the day is probably the best bet.
