Greetings are warm and the service is brisk and friendly, and the bright colors and flavors of Cuban food are well represented in this casual restaurant owned by Elizardo Sanz. Well-seasoned black beans and rice, tender roasted pork chunks, ropa vieja (shredded flank steak rich with garlic, spices and tomatoes), fish in salsa verde, and flan for dessert are all available. The boliche was a bit of a disappointment; although flavorful, the meat was a tad less than tender. House-made sangría is the appropriate accompaniment to the classic fare.
