Pancho's Restaurant Restaurant Review: The South Bay's oldest Mexican restaurant has decent food and attentive service, but that's not why it's famous. The place is popular for the ambience, which has an 80-plus-year patina --- an eternity by Los Angeles standards. The building has been a nightclub, gambling den and brothel, and has hosted movie stars since the 1920s. It's a landmark that serves food and margaritas, and all things considered does a good job at both, making it worth a visit. |
