| Despite the restaurant’s somewhat generic name, which sounds like a typical Chinese take-away, Panda Pavilion is a full-service eatery. It features authentic Chinese cuisine from the Cantonese, Szechuan and Hunan provinces, plus a Japanese menu. The casual but elegant setting includes an impressive tank of tropical fish and subtle Chinese decorative accents. Try the spicy crab Rangoon, a departure from traditional Chinese cuisine but tasty nonetheless, or the chicken with sesame paste. The entrée menu is considerably more Chinese-American-inspired, with reliable favorites such as a tender and pungent twice-cooked pork and crispy, aromatic roast duck. |
