This is one of downtown Orlando’s “power breakfast” hot-spots, in the trendy Eo Inn, where politicos hold court as they sip a fresh-brewed cup of java, from espressos to lattes to cappuccinos. If the biscotti and sticky pecan rolls aren’t calling your name for breakfast, try a savory baked egg soufflé with ham and Swiss. Lunch is jammed too, with signature sandwiches served on fresh bread. There are four to five soups on the menu each day, from vegetable black bean to chicken chili. The cold sandwiches (almond chicken salad, Mediterranean vegetables, turkey with bacon and smoked gouda) are freshly made and are the best bet (the panini---like steak and white cheddar---are premade, but still pretty tasty). The you-pick-two option is good if you’d like to try a half sandwich and a cup of soup or small salad. If you want a loaf of sourdough to take home, go early; they sometimes sell out by mid-afternoon.
