THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Park Avalon Restaurant Review:

The too-cool-for-words crowd comes more for the scene---or to celebrate---than to eat. So the fare, while it features all the trendy New American ingredients and combinations, doesn't always excite us. That said, it isn't bad either, and the reasonable prices certainly make us smile. Among the offerings here are lobster and shrimp dumplings, sesame tuna tartare, and fresh and creative salads. The crab cakes with mango chutney are deliciously flavorful, and for entrées, the pastas are usually above-average.
