We have an affinity for this comfortable, sprawling seafood house. Tablecloths add a touch of luxe, as does the abundant use of wood paneling. While it’s not exactly inexpensive, you do get what you pay for. We recommend the mussels in saffron-tomato broth, and happen to think that the clam chowder is quite good. Wood-roasted salmon is one of the best fish dishes on offer, but seasonal specials like Venezuelan mahi mahi with lump crab, sambal and mango sauce receives a green light. For dessert, we'd go for the simple chocolate cake. The wine list is full of depth and, overall, easy on the wallet.
