Pasa Thai Restaurant Review

: This small, back-street Thai restaurant welcomes chili fans as well as tykes who are happy with the non-spicy fare. Many of the dishes sound familiar, and while you may not discover any hidden treats, you can’t go wrong with such entrées as the crispy basil chicken, a riff on the more traditional preparation and one that is shot through with chili heat. You will also find the various noodle dishes are up to snuff. While this food may not parallel what you’ll find on the streets of Bangkok, at least you can enjoy lunch or dinner here with the entire family.

McLean's best kept secret...
by lmc3q on Tue Sep 02, 2008 7:58 am
Thoughtful presentations, excellent traditional Thai cuisine, and prompt, friendly service characterize this surprisingly spacious restaurant tucked behind a Safeway in McLean. Dishes not to be missed include their bright and flavorful panang curry, which artfully tempers the bold flavor of red curry with coconut milk, subtle hints of lemongrass and basil, and just the right amount of heat. Also try the pottery shrimp, a mild dish of gently sweet bean thread noodles, shrimp, spring onions and Thai herbs presented in a clay pot.

While you might pass on the Pasa Thai dumplings, be sure to finish with the sticky rice with mango--hands-down the best around.
