Pasha Restaurant Review: A refurbishment has shifted the style from classic Turkish to modern Istanbul, but happily with the front still spilling out onto the street in good weather. The menu is long and takes in, well, just about everything, from first-rate mixed meze to staples like good grills and dishes such as diced lamb with spring onions, green peppers, tomatoes, mushrooms and herbs, cooked in foil. Despite the lengthy menu, the kitchen stands up to it and dishes are consistently well cooked, ensuring a steady stream of Islington regulars. Set lunch menu £9.95; set pre- and post-theater £12.95 (minimum 2 people); Pasha Feast £20.95 (minimum 2 people). |
