Pasquale Ristorante Restaurant Review

: Dark red wood, white tablecloths and well-spaced seating along with cream-colored walls, little wrought iron wall sconces and high-tiered curtained windows define Pasquale’s comfortable, airy dining room. The menu of reliable Italian classics offers two options: order individual dishes or opt for family-style. Skip the calamari fritti and go for starters like the portabella alla Pasquale, mushrooms sautéed in a demi Cognac sauce; or share some cold antipasti. Entrées worthy of attention include the tender, thin veal scaloppine topped with ham, fresh mushrooms and mozzarella, and the boneless breast of chicken sautéed with hot cherry peppers and artichoke hearts in a garlic and white wine sauce. The wine list, featuring reds and whites from Sicily and Puglia, among others, complements the food. Desserts are house-made and include refreshingly tart sorbets such as the frutti di bosco.
