This Italian fast-food joint has been hugely popular since the minute it opened. The casual dining room and affordable prices attract downtown workers. Library browsers and Nordstrom shoppers like the close proximity and cosmopolitan feel. And everybody loves the food. All 13 pasta selections come with bruschetta and fresh Parmesan cheese. Favorites include penne with butternut squash, spinach and tomatoes in a cream sauce, or one of the fabulous salads such as the spinach or mista. The red wine is also a great bargain by the glass. Diners order at the counter, then find a table upstairs or on the sidewalk. Solo diners may meet an interesting companion, but the food can be packed to go as well.
