THIS ESTABLISHMENT IS CLOSED This neighborhood bakery in the West Village makes a wide array of Italian pastries including biscotti, cannoli, and panettone Genovese with fennel seeds during the holidays. The difficulty in choosing which treats to buy is further compounded by the vast selection of buttery cookies, meringues and luscious cakes. Sit at one of the handful of tiny tables to enjoy an espresso and a pastry or (in warm weather) a dish of gelato. This spot used to be called Bleecker Street Pastry & Café before the new owners changed the name.
