THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Patou Restaurant Review:
The second restaurant for Patrice Rames, chef-owner of Bistro St. Tropez, is as serene as the Mediterranean and as fresh as the sea air blowing in from the water. The menu is tout Français, with the open kitchen turning out fine versions of French classics such as a bracing vichyssoise, coquille made with diver scallops, and a hearty grilled rosemary-marinated rabbit with creamy polenta. Ingredients are impressively fresh, with Rames’ skilled use of herbs enhancing treats such as a sauté of wild mushrooms and individual pizzas redolent with basil and arugula.
