THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Patterson's Restaurant Review:

This is a highly unusual restaurant for London, in that it is a proper family affair. The owner-chef is Raymond Patterson (ex head chef at the Garrick Club), and the rest of the family is also involved with running the restaurant. Minimalist in design with well-spaced tables, it is a peaceful, smart venue where both those dining for business or for fun feel equally at home. Cooking is very accomplished and full of flair, as in smoked haddock soufflé with salt cod brandade and baby spinach, and wine and herring roe sauce; or fried veal terrine with Orkney langoustine. Try mains of roast sea bass, gurnard and monkfish with scallop tortellini and bouillabaisse. Desserts are as richly assembled, as in candied orange and sour cream cake with chocolate and orange ganache, lime basil jelly, and Earl Gray tea ice cream. Service is professional, the wine list attractive with a French bias. Lunch menus are priced at £7 starter, £12 main, £6 dessert. À la carte dishes are priced at £15.50 starter, £21 main and £10.50 dessert.
