THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Pazzo Italian Cafe Restaurant Review:

"Pazzo" means "crazy" in Italian. And after a meal here, you'll be tempted to think the owners are, indeed, a bit touched. How do they explain such enormous portions? But it's not crazy to love this place, an utterly unpretentious restaurant where you're treated like family and sent home with doggy bags containing tomorrow's lunch. That's because it's the quality, not the quantity, which keeps you coming back. Among the salads---practically multiple meals in themselves---we're especially fond of the Toscana onion salad: thin ribbons of red onion tossed with greens, Gorgonzola, toasted pine nuts and tomatoes in a bracing balsamic vinaigrette. As for pasta, we enjoy the classic, rich fettuccine bathed in Parmesan cream with fresh-ground pepper as well as the more complex lobster-asparagus ravioli with grape tomatoes and a fresh basil cream. We also recommend the rigatoni with porcini and sweet sausage in tomato cream. Meat and fish usually show up in worthwhile daily specials; follow them up with the rich, creamy cheesecake or a fresh cannoli. Finally, it's worth noting that Pazzo is one of the few BYOB restaurants around---ensuring that at least the tabs aren't crazy.
