THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Pearl's Cafe Restaurant Review:
Pearls occupies a high-ceilinged brick building more than 100 years old. Chef-owner Craig Davidson makes everything from scratch for a menu that changes every three or four months. Items like grilled duck breast with buttermilk mashed potatoes are outstanding. Jalapeño cheese grits are a little too zippy to match some of dishes they accompany. For dessert, the cream cheese fudge brownie is tempting. With a few minor changes, Pearls could become a metro dining destination. Its perfect for parents visiting students at the University of West Georgia.
