The green-and-white color scheme gives the illusion of dining in an airy garden where the service is exceptional and friendly. Shoppers stopping in for lunch can go light with an interesting salad or a fine soup, though more substantial sandwiches and light entrées also are available. Chef Hector Gómez leans toward traditional favorites, such as steak au poivre with Cognac mustard sauce and pork tenderloin with plum sauce. The desserts are so huge they can provoke disbelieving laughter when presented to an unsuspecting guest who just wants a little something sweet.
